My Reptile Interests
|
|
A little bit of everything at this point. Since I'm not really interested in breeding, my herp-focus has mainly been on particular animals that I find fascinating and/or beautiful. One of my favorite aspects of this hobby is putting together naturalistic enclosures that are both beneficial to the animal and pleasing to the eye. The naturalistic enclosures, at this point, are more geared towards the geckos and frogs, but I am constantly upgrading and hope to include more of my snakes as well. The Ultimate Goal is to eventually have naturalistic setups for each and every herp, but this is dependent on $ and space, as well as practicality.

Other Interests

Hiking, camping, skiing, gardening, painting, being lazy... my favorite extra curricular activity would be traveling to tropical areas across the globe and exploring and eating, when money allows.

My music collection is quite eclectic, as what I'm listening to is entirely dependent on my mood. Current favorites include, but are not limited to: the Pixies, White Stripes, Beastie Boys, Crystal Method, Prodigy, Depeche Mode, Marilyn Manson, Underworld, Pigface, Arctic Monkeys, Cake, the Chemical Brothers, Franz Ferdinand, Rob Zombie, Green Day, Jane's Addiction, Ministry, Modest Mouse, Sex Pistols...the list goes on and on...

Typically anything dark, intelligent and/or humorous. I'm a huge sci-fi geek. And I'll watch any movie that involves human-"enhanced" animals breaking free and killing everyone...those are the best. :)
